Dee Dee passed the gallstone on her own and will be going home from the hospital once she is able to keep food down. Surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday to remove her gallbladder. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Dee Dee has been admitted to the hospital and will be having gallbladder surgery tomorrow.

November Service Project

At our last meeting in November, we will be doing a group service project.  The service project is to collect and assemble Exam Survival Kits.  We will be partnering with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Oakland University.  The idea is to encourage the college students during a stressful time and let them know Jesus loves them.  Everyone can participate.  Here are some ways:

1.  We are looking for ideas of what to put in the kits, so please send ideas this week to your small group leaders or myself.
2.  A wish list will be put together and you can sign up to purchase things on the list and bring them that night to donate. 
3.  You can donate money and a few of us will go purchase items in bulk.
4.  You can volunteer to shop for items at great prices in bulk.
5.  You can bring ideas of encouraging things to write and put in the kits.
6.  You can help assemble the kits that night. {Everyone}

Welcome to Insights everyone!  Each week any announcements will be given to the small group leaders to pass on during small group time.  If you happen to miss the announcements because you are late or unable to come that week, you can find them on our website, www.InsightsBibleStudy.org, under Troy PM blog.  You will also be able to view a recording of the large group teaching time which will be posted by the end of the weekend that week if not sooner.

Prayer Team

We are interested in finding out if there are ladies that would be interested in meeting before Insights to pray for Insights, all the leaders, staff, and women coming.  Our Insights Director, DeeDee, sent an email an email a few weeks ago asking if we thought this might be a good idea.  She said, “Just feeling like maybe we need to surround Insights and it’s leaders with more prayer.”  If this is something that interests you, we will meet at 6:30pm before Insights starts in room 212.  If you are interested but can’t make that time, please let one of your small group leaders know and they will pass that information on.
